Our Approach
At Deep Thought Psychotherapy we offer pluralistic therapeutic intervention.

"I've heard that term before, but what does that mean?"

I am not surprised you've heard the term pluralistic therapy before. It is an approach which many therapists strive to deliver, with many failing to quite drastically. Unfortunately, today, the term pluralistic therapy has been appropriated as the approach that by a little understanding of many therapeutic theories, and then presenting a mix of these, that something will work for you.

"How is Deep Thought Psychotherapy different?"

I am always puzzled and concerned when I see therapists provide a long list of issues, difficulties, diagnoses or experiences which they feel they may be able to help with. This confuses me, because the presentation and experience of all the things on this list will be different for each individual. So, at Deep Thought Psychotherapy, I would rather focus on treating you the individual than provide a convenient label.

"So what does that mean?"

Simply put, with a greater understanding of techniques, the ongoing development of new in-house approaches, and the confidence to be truly client driven, Deep Thought Psychotherapy is able to tailor your therapeutic journey to you the client and whatever concerns or complications you bring. That means that we can legitimately develop an approach which best suits you as the client, and is tailored to achieve the most positive results.

That means that each therapeutic journey, rather an just being pluralistic, is truly bespoke to fit the client.
